The Imagine brand begun life in 2014, when British snowsports instructor and outdoor educator Pete Tupper founded a company to run ski trips and outdoor activities in Beijing. Over the years, Imagine has expanded its range of adventures around Mainland China, Taiwan, Japan and other regions in East and South East Asia, with a network of talented and passionate teams facilitating life-changing experiences for people on a daily basis. In each location, Imagine’s outdoor activities have a reliable, safe, fun, creative and adventurous style. The brand’s mission is to Inspire Development through Action and Adventure.

A Niseko-based company, Ezo Tourism Services Ltd, headed by Australian Rhys Liddle, had been operating in Japan for many years, running a ski school, backcountry guiding service and other local services. Meanwhile, Imagine had been running ski trips to Japan from overseas for many years. In 2019, the two decided to join forces, to combine the vast local knowledge and experience, logistics and structure of Ezo with the popular brand, year-round activity management and overseas networks of Imagine. The Japan branch of Imagine is run as a collaboration between the two, bringing together the best of both worlds.
